Are you moving to Kingston or Richmond and looking to play cricket or do you live in the area and are looking for a cricket club? If so, Ham and Petersham is a friendly club playing both Saturday League and Sunday cricket. Come and join us in 2017.
During the off season we hold indoor nets on Monday evenings in the sports hall of Grey Court School between 7pm and 9pm. In 2017, these indoor net sessions will be held from 2 January until 20 March (inclusive) with a break for half term on 13 February. If you are not a current member and are interested in playing for us, please feel free to come along to nets to meet us pre-season - no requirement to book, just come along and introduce yourself. Access to the sports hall is via the netball courts parking area behind the sports hall as accessed by the Sandy lane entrance to the school. Nets sessions cost £5, reduced to £3 for non-Grey Court School students. There is an annual nets joining fee of £35 (£10 for students) which is deducted from the club annual membership fee due at the start of the season. There is no charge or joining fee for Grey School students.
Once the season has started we also hold practice sessions on our artificial strip on Ham Common every Wednesday evening, run by our coaches. This is another great way in to playing cricket.
Remember, you can play as often or as little as you like. Very few people play every week and many just a few times a season.
We are proud to welcome juniors to the club with Friday night sessions for children from years 3 to 6 of all abilities once the season has started. Inquiries to Geoff Bond. We also welcome older children to train and play with the senior teams. We fully comply with ECB's Safe Hands Policy
